Hawarden match back on home turf
Corwen's Premier division clash against Hawarden is now to be played at Corwen's War Memorial Ground as originally scheduled.
Heavy rain fall last week had caused the clubs to rearrange for the match to be played at Hawarden, but after Hawarden were forced to call the match off, Mr Huw Chick quickly inspected Corwen's pitch and declared the match back on.
As these photo's show, the Corwen pitch was at one point totally covered with standing water but after a few dry days the water has disappeared and the pitch is now ready to host the important clash.
